The Stadios Olimpicos have confirmed that their first pre-season friendly against Udinese will be played at the Olimpiocca.
It will be the third friendly of the season for the Stade de France, and the first of its kind in Europe.
The first match of the new season will take place on the 25th March at 11:00pm.
It is the first time that Udinese and Fiorentina have met at the same venue since 2007.
In an interview with Sky Sport Italia, Stadionio Orampeio sporting director Fabio Rognini confirmed that the Olegi Ognjenovic-led side would host the first pre season friendly.
He added that the venue would be used for two weeks before the game and that the match will be held at the newly renovated Olimpieco Stadium in the city of Tuscany.
Rognini explained that the club was looking forward to playing against Udine, who have already reached the last 16 of the Europa League and are currently in the Champions League quarter-finals.
However, the Orioli have a very busy schedule, as they face Lyon, Napoli, Lazio and AC Milan in the first half of the calendar year.
The team is currently in Europe’s top division, with seven points from the opening seven games, including victories over Bordeaux, Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.
They are currently sitting in fifth place.
